General information regarding the integrations. Follow the steps and screenshots below to connect your property BetterBot to a central Outlook or Google Calendar.
- General Information
- You can connect only one Outlook or Google Calendar per bot, you can't connect multiple calendars.
- All the appointment settings are used from our scheduling system: Tour Length, Heads-Up Time, Appointments per slot, and Tour Limit.
- Available days are pulled from BetterBot scheduling system, by setting up the working hours.
- Available times are pulled from BetterBot scheduling system, by setting up the working hours.
- The availability is determined by checking the connected Outlook or Google Calendar for events for the selected day and if any events are found, the times when the events are scheduled are not shown as an option in the bot.
- As part of the setup, please make sure that the calendar's primary time zone is the same as the property's time zone.
- When sending appointments to the calendar, events are always sent in the calendar's primary time zone. If your calendar's primary time zone is set to EST, events will be sent in EST time zone.
- Additional information for the appointments is submitted as notes on the Outlook or Google Calendar event.

- BetterBot must change client permissions for them to connect the integration in the BetterBot Dashboard.
- Once this is complete, navigate to INTEGRATIONS>APPOINTMENTS
- This will open the Appointments Integrations. For each appointment type that is enabled, choose Outlook or Google, then SELECT.
- You will see Outlook or Google Integrations Settings at the bottom of the Dashboard.
- For Outlook, you will be prompted to sign in to Microsoft or choose the calendar you wish to connect to.
- For Google, choose the account you'd like to connect to.
- Follow the prompts to connect to the appropriate calendar.
