Bot Avatar Update 

Standardize Bot Image Sizes across all devices 

Key Features 

The bot avatar may experience infrequent loading issues on specific devices due to oversized image files. To address this, a predefined standard size will be established for each device type. Please be aware that only image files are acceptable, and GIF uploads will be declined. You can configure these settings in the Chat Dashboard under the "Personalize" section, specifically within "Your Brand." This feature is also available for the Standard BeeBees as well.

Product User Guides 

If the bot avatar is too big, the bot image will not load on the device. To make the image sizes standard, there is a checkbox to resize on upload to the following sections in the Chat Dashboard Personalize → Your Brand: 

  • Embed Button Tab 
    • Embed Icon
    • Embed Info Image
  • Mobile Button Tab 
    • Mobile Embed Icon
    • Mobile Embed Info Image
  • Bot Window Tab 
    • Bot Window Icon
  • Dashboard Tab 
    • Dashboard Logo

    • Email Logo
    • Email Avatar.

There are 2 ways to resize the avatar. 

  1. When uploading a new avatar- it will automatically resize to the standard size set
  2. If there is a custom avatar already added, click the RESIZE CURRENT IMAGE  button and SAVE CHANGES. This will resize the avatar.

To resize Standard BeeBees in the Dashboard, Navigate to Support → Standard BeeBees. When uploading a new BeeBee, the resize checkmark will show. Click on this to automatically resize the image. 

Survey Builder Update 

Key Features 

In the Survey Builder, if the survey is displayed in the Welcome Intent, the bot greets and follows with the first question from the survey. After the first question is displayed, another message with quicklinks are followed. This is  confusing for users (see image).

 

For this task, if the Survery is displayed in the Welcome intent, the question will launch giving the opportunity for prospects to answer the survey question.
